Emergency services attend early morning incident near Invergordon where a person was trapped in machinery

The crew from Invergordon Fire Station got a breakfast time call to come to the aid of a casualty trapped in machinery.

The crew, along with crews from Tain, Dingwall and Inverness, were mobilised at 7.15am to come to the aid of the worker.

A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said: "We were called at 7.15am to attend to a casualty caught in machinery near to Invergordon.

"We mobilised crews from Invergordon and Tain as well as specialised units from Dingwall and Inverness.

"However the crews from Dingwall and Inverness were stood down before the reached the scene."
She continued: "We supported the Scottish Ambulance Service as they took the casualty into its care."
