Almost 50,000 Moray adults have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine

ALMOST 50,000 adults in Moray have now received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 49,045 people aged 18 plus in Moray are now fully vaccinated, which is 63.3 per cent of the area's adults.

Meanwhile, a total 69,720 (89.9 per cent of Moray's adult population) have received one dose of a vaccine.

Across the NHS Grampian health board region, 84.2 per cent of adults (398,904 people) have received a first dose, with 59 per cent (279,493 people) having been fully vaccinated.

In Scotland, 84.9 per cent of adults (3,781,887 people) have received their first jab and 60.7 per cent (2,701,195 people) have received both.
