Tribute has been paid to Ann Ingram of the Ladybird Development Group in Lossiemouth.

On the group's Facebook page, they said of her MBE: "Our amazing, hard working, irreplaceable Ann Ingram is to be awarded an MBE for her contribution to the work Ladybird has given to countless families for well over 30 years. "Ann does not see her ‘job’ as a 9-5 position and as we all know has worked countless hours over the years to support families, support the children and critically to be the person who has allowed Ladybird to flourish when other development groups in Moray have sadly closed.

"Her ability to keep charitable funds from many wonderful contributors arriving just in time for us to deliver our full service to our children has been nothing short of a miracle on some occasions.

"We work as a team with some outstanding practitioners, a dedicated committee and many generous local people, but I am so happy that Ann has been honoured in this way to show just how much she means to all of us who work at Ladybird, and how much she has contributed to what it has achieved over the years."

Others in Moray are on the honours list; more to follow..
