Fencing at Forres Thistle's Logie Park vandalised

OFFICIALS at Forres Thistle Football Club have expressed their disappointment after a fence at Logie Park was damaged at the weekend.

Two sections of the fencing which surrounds Thistle's home ground have been ripped to the floor.

The club is appealing for anyone with any information to come forward or to get in touch with the police.

A Thistle statement said: "Disappointed to see our fence at Logie Park has been damaged over the weekend.

"The ground is maintained by our committee who give up there free time to keep Logie Park in an excellent standard.

"If anyone has any info or sees anything like this happening please contact us or the police."

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Police are appealing for any information in relation to vandalism which occurred between 9am on May 23 and 9am on May 24 at the grounds of Forres Thistle Football Club.

"Damage was caused to the surrounding fence and various other items within the grounds.

"If you have any information, please contact police on 101 or via the website, quoting reference number PS-20210524-0666."
