Police appealing for witnesses after fire in Keith park

POLICE are appealing for witnesses in relation to wilful fire-raising in Keith.

A fire is reported to have been deliberately started at the pavilion in St Rufus Park, on Seafield Avenue, on Sunday afternoon.

It is reported that the fire began sometime around 4pm at the toilet block, which is part of the pavilion near to the tennis court.

Several people were in the vicinity at the time.

Constable Carla Breen said: "I'm appealing to anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact Keith Police Office through 101 quoting reference 2350 of 23 January 2022."
