Buckie arrest after police seize Class A drugs in Moray raid





A man has been arrested and charged after more than £3000 worth of class A drugs, including cocaine, were seized from a residential property.

The drugs, which have an estimated street value of £3300, were recovered from a home on Carnie Place in Buckie.

Officers searched a property on Thursday, September 5, and seized cocaine and drug dealing equipment.

A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with drug offences.

He is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Friday, September 6.

Detective Sergeant Richard Cooper said: “We are committed to tackling the supply and distribution of harmful substances in our communities and will continue to take action against those involved in such criminality.

“We would continue to urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
