Baxters directorship for former Scottish Tory leader Ruth Davidson

FORMER Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson has been appointed as a director of Fochabers-based soup giant Baxters.

The appointment was listed in a filing from WA Baxter & Sons (Holdings) with Companies House today.

Baroness Davidson (42) was appointed on July 28, according to the filing.

It is believed Baroness Davidson will serve as a non-executive director of the food group.

Conservative leader Boris Johnson stopped off at Baxters in a visit to Moray last year.
