The Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation has reopened to general applications.

Trustees have now re-opened the fund for general applications.

The foundation has traditionally supported community projects based in the Moray area. However, the geographical area for potential funding has now been extended to cover communities in the north-east of Scotland and the Highlands and Islands.

Awards vary from £100 up to £25,000 covering a wide range of projects and schemes designed to improve people's lives and the communities in which they live.

A diverse range of groups and organisations have secured awards in the past, ranging from the Scottish Dolphin Centre at Spey Bay, Portessie Public Hall, Morayvia aviation, science and technology museum and Keith skate park.

The foundation was established in 1981 by brothers Gordon and Ian Baxter together with their wives, Ena and Margaret.

The application deadline for the November funding round is October 9, 2020. To apply and for more information, visit www.gebfoundation.com
