Biker (47) airlifted to hospital after Moray crash closed B9012 Duffus Road in Elgin

A BIKER has been flown to hospital in Aberdeen after a crash involving a car on a Moray road.

Police confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the incident near Elgin, which closed the B9012 Duffus Road for more than four hours.

The crash was first reported at around 9am today, the spokesperson added.

After officers attended, an air ambulance delivered the injured 47-year-old man to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Disruption came to an end when the road was opened at around 11.30am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Monday, 3 June, 2024, we were called to a report of a road crash involving a car and a motorbike on the B9012, Duffus Road, Elgin.

“Officers attended and a 47-year-old man was taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

“The road was reopened around 11.30am.”
