Roadworks round-up for the Buckie area





A NUMBER of road restrictions will be in force in and around Buckie this coming week due to roadworks.

Both sides of the road on Seafield Street in Cullen outside number 26 will see a prohibition order in force until May 14 due to urgent Scottish Water roadworks.

The Gordon Castle Highland Games on May 19 will see a prohibition of waiting order in operation on High Street. It will affect both sides of the road from the Gordon Castle entrance to the West Street Junction. It will be in force from 7am to 5pm.

Craigenroan Place in Portessie outside number 14 will be closed on May 14 to allow ironwork repairs to be undertaken.

Meanwhile, Scottish Water are expected to begin work outside number 26 Grant Street by May 13 at the latest, lasting three working days.

Over in Portknockie. Scottish Water are scheduled to have finished work to repair a leaking pipe outside 4 Patrol Place by May 22.

In Buckie, resurfacing work continues from the bowling club to Low Street.

.Scottish Water are due to have completed work on a burst water main on High Street, Fochabers by May 16.
