Roadworks round-up for the Buckie area

A number of road restrictions will be in force in and around Buckie this coming week.

SPEED restrictions are set to be put in place just outside Buckie when Peter Fair comes to town next week.

A temporary 30mph speed limit will be in place for a distance of 200m east and 450m west of March Road junction over July 24-26.

Meanwhile, there will be a prohibition of waiting order in force on both sides of West Church Street, Buckie on July 22 due to ironwork repairs.

Expected to start by July 29, Moray Council are planning to undertake surface dressing work at Seafield Road, Lintmill for an estimated 31 working days.

Similar work is due to start between July 22-30 at York Place and Grant Street in Cullen lasting for 30 working days.

Still in Cullen, Scottish Gas Network are scheduled to begin work installing a new gas connection outside 10 Victoria Place between July 25 and August 2 for up to 10 working days.

Moray Council will be undertaking surface dressing work in an area on the U68l from C32l near Georgetown via Stonielea to the A942 at Den Burn, Buckie at some point between July 22-30 for 10 working days.

Surface dressing work is set to start on Station Road, Findochty between July 24 and August 1 for a projected 28 days.

Scheduled to get under way either on July 22 or July 23, Scottish Water will be working outside No 8 West Church Street for up to three working days to replace a Buchan trap.

The local authority will be closing the whole of Gordon Street, Buckie in the period July 24 - August 1 for surface dressing work. This could take up to 28 working days. Over the same period and estimated duration similar work will be on the go at St Helena Brae in the town.
