Buckie Rotary classic car run clocks up the cash for air ambulance charity
CLASSIC cars and other vehicles were on the move in Buckie recently to raise money for charity.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Buckie, Sunday, June 9 saw 24 vehicles and their owners gather at Cunningholes in the town to begin a tour that took them round Deskford, Fordyce, Portsoy, Sandend, Lintmill, Cullen, Portknockie, Findochty, Portessie and finished at Buckie.
It was a mobile trip down memory lane for many as favourites from the past got on the move, with people from across the north-east - stretching from Elgin to Fraserburgh - coming along to show off their vintage vehicles.
Refreshments were provided en route by the Portsoy 75 Club.
It was to be a fruitful day for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, with £800 raised.
