FISH landings were on the up last week at Buckie Harbour.

Some 561 boxes of fish/prawns/squid were landed by six vessels, up from 177 boxes the previous week.

No bags of clams were brought ashore.

Landing their catches at Buckie were; Our May; Arrow; Chloe Ella; Skua; Transcend; Beverly Ann.

A single cargo boat docked at Buckie last week, the Antiguan-registered MV RDJ Waalstroom. She imported 2010.4 tonnes of malt from Hamburg on June 23 before sailing light to Aberdeen three days later.
