Weekly round-up at Buckie Harbour

NEARLY 400 boxes of fish/prawns/squid were landed at Buckie Harbour last week.

In all 11 vessels landed 378 boxes plus 34 bags of clams.

The boats were: Illustrious; Chloe Ella; Moray Endeavour; Endeavour; Emerald Dawn; Orcades; Girl Alison; Lily Oak VI; Boy Sam; Our May; Flourish.

One cargo vessels docked at Buckie Harbour last week, the Bahamas-registered MV Icelandica Hav (Bahamas) which imported around 1625 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on October 8. She is expected to export approximately 2150 tonnes pebbles/cobblestones to Rye this coming Wednesday afternoon.
