Buckie man fined after assaults

A BUCKIE man who assaulted his former partner and his new partner earlier this year has been fined.

Kenneth Taylor (41), of Well Road in the town, admitted two assaults to injury against the women.

The incidents occurred in his Buckie home on May 22.

He was sentenced at Inverness Sheriff Court today (Monday, July 20).

The court was told that Taylor had an alcohol problem.

Sheriff Sara Matheson fined him £600.

Taylor was also ordered him to have treatment for his alcohol problem.

Sheriff Matheson further placed him under social work supervision for 18 months.
