Busier week of fish landings recorded at Buckie Harbour

FISH landings more than doubled at Buckie Harbour after a quiet week previously.

Six boats landed 338 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and 48 bags of clams last week. This compared to 165 boxes and 45 bags the week before

The vessels landing their catches were: Our May; Boy Sam; Lily Oak VI; Chloe Ella; Flourish;

Emerald Dawn.

On the cargo front, a single boat, the Antiguan-registered MV Nordica Hav imported 1624.5 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on May 6 before sailing light to Tilbury on May 9.
