ASPIRING entrepreneurs are invited to an information evening next week to learn more about the first Moray Accelerator programme.

Individuals can learn about the application process and meet past accelerator alumni – entrepreneurs who have been there and done it themselves – at Horizon Scotland, in Forres, on Tuesday, July 30, between 5.30-7.30pm.

Elevator has been appointed by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and Business Gateway to launch its first fully-funded business accelerator in the north.

The Moray Accelerator is looking for start-up, early-stage and growth companies who are poised to take their business, product or service to the next level.

Applications for the 13-week programme are open now and will be accepted until August 14.

Participants will be assisted by seasoned entrepreneurs and a network of mentors.

Donna Chisholm, HIE area manager in Moray, said: "With our partners, Business Gateway, we want Moray’s entrepreneurs to have access to the best business thinking, so we are delighted to welcome Elevator into the region."
