RESIDENTS at two Buckie care homes have sent their local team good luck wishes ahead of their Highland League Cup final tomorrow.

Buckie Thistle face Rothes in the final of the tournament at Kynoch Park, with both sides having won their respective semi-finals in dramatic fashion last weekend.

Fans at Parklands and Burnbank care homes have produced a video message to wish the team well ahead of the clash with the Speysiders.

Parklands activities coordinator Lisa Toogood said: "We are all excited to see Buckie Thistle in the Highland League Cup Final.

"We have lifelong Jags fans in our care and they will be cheering them on to victory.

"But whoever wins, it's great to see two Moray teams in the final."
