Buckie care homes gearing up to raise cash for kids’ cancer charity





A care home is set to hold a fundraiser for local cancer groups this Friday.

Parklands and Burnbank in Buckie is set to hold a coffee morning this coming Friday to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Money raised will be donated to Moray children’s cancer charity Logan’s Fund.

The event is run between 10am and 11.30am. Entry costs £2.50.

Meanwhile, the Keith Cares Club – a partnership between Glenisla and Weston View Care Homes – is holding a sold-out fundraising dance at Ugie House Hotel in Keith, also on Friday. The event aims to raise money for the residents' comfort fund and local charity Keith Cancer Link.

Local singer Toni will provide entertainment.
