REPRESENTATIVES of community groups, charities, local businesses and the public sector are invited to a conference focusing on building up Moray’s economic, social and environmental strengths.
TsiMoray's Join the Dots day-long event is themed Maximising Moray's Potential and will look at the region’s assets as a way of making positive change in communities.
Fabio Villani, from TsiMoray's leadership team, said: "This year’s conference comes at a crucial time. As we face increasing pressures on our environment, our economy, and the very fabric of our society, we need to maximise Moray’s potential by celebrating and building on our phenomenal local assets.
"As a county, we are small enough to be able to ‘join the dots’ across organisational and sectoral boundaries, whether we work in the public, private or third sector. If we want Moray to thrive, then we simply have to do this together."
Keynote speaker is Chris Chinnock, an expert in the asset-based approach for community development, and there will be opportunities to gain information and advice from contributors including the National Lottery Community Fund, Development Trust Association Scotland, the Social Enterprise Academy and Moray Youth Matters.
Maximising Moray's Potential takes place at the Mansefield Hotel in Elgin on March 25 and you can visit www.tsimoray.org.uk for Join the Dots booking details.
