Six cases of coronavirus in Grampian

THE number of cases of coronavirus in Grampian has risen to six.

Two more cases of the virus were confirmed in the region today, with one yesterday. The Scottish total is now 27.

Lothian has been the worst affected area so far with seven cases, with Grampian the second worst hit.

Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Lanarkshire have both had three cases, with Fife, Forth Valley and Shetland having two. Ayrshire and Tayside have one.

Common symptoms of coronavirus include: high temperature or fever cough and shortness of breath.

A free helpline has been set up for people who do not have symptoms but are looking for general advice: 0800 028 2816.
