MacMoray Festival 2026’s first act announced as 2 Unlimited
The first act has been announced for the 2026 edition of MacMoray Festival.
2 Unlimited - famous for hits ‘Get Ready’ and ‘No Limit’ among others - are coming to Elgin’s Cooper Park.
The next MacMoray will run across the weekend of May 2-3, with 2 Unlimited to perform on the Sunday (May 3).
Organiser Andy Macdonald said: “So many people have asked for 2 Unlimited over the years and they will go down an absolute treat.
“We have been trying to organise something with them for a couple of years and it finally works for both of us.”
2 Unlimited - a Belgian-Dutch dance duo - were formed in 1991 and had massive success in the mid-90s.
Ray Slijngaard, an original member, is still half of the duo - and is now joined by Michèle Karamat Ali.
‘Get Ready’, the group’s first single, reached number two in the UK - while ‘No Limit’, released in 1993, topped the charts in many countries - including the United Kingdom and Ireland.
