THE busy School Brae/Clifton Road junction in Lossiemouth is expected to reopen this evening following four months of roadworks.

Traffic lights have been installed to make the junction safer for schoolchildren in particular.

A Moray Council spokesman said: "Our electrical contractors are on site, putting the finishing touches to the improved junction of Clifton Road and School Brae in Lossiemouth.

"Thanks for your patience while these works have been undertaken. Although the project took longer than anticipated, the significant changes will improve safety for pedestrians, motorists and cyclists."
