Northern Scot reader snaps Loch Spynie visitors

A REGULAR Northern Scot contributor spotted this little character having a good feed at Loch Spynie recently.

Wildlife enthusiast Hazel Thomson, from Elgin, was richly rewarded on a recent outing to the nature reserve.

As well as capturing a beautiful image of a red squirrel at the feeders, Hazel snapped three mute swans, two adults and one juvenile, taking off from the loch, framed against the autumnal glory.
