The newborn is the fourth child for mother EmmyLou - and the third she has given birth to at Dr Gray’s.

She said: "I really wanted to labour here and the midwives have been amazing.”

Sealey Walter is a little brother to Hugo, Altaya and Bodhi.

An NHS Grampian spokesperson said: “Dr Gray's looks forward to making planned sections possible in Moray once again in 2025 as part of plans to deliver a full, sustainable obstetric service at the hospital.

“This is a wonderful start to the New Year. All the best to the Holmes family.”

A baby was also born at Dr Gray’s on Christmas Day - and Buckie Thistle defender Sam Morrison’s partner Ellen gave birth at Raigmore Hospital on December 25.
