STAFF at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin took part in the weekly clap for carers last night as the trend entered its ninth week.

The clap has been taking place across the United Kingdom at 8pm every Thursday since March 26.

It was set up to ensure people could show their appreciation for those on the front line in the battle with coronavirus.
