Daytime A96 drainage improvements near Cairnie set to begin next week





ROADWORKS on the A96 are set to begin next week.

The improvements, north of Huntly near Cairnie, will see the installation of a new filter drain and outfall on the A96, helping remove water from the A96 carriageway and are set to run from Monday, May 27 to Friday, June 7.

Work will take place from just south of Cairnie junction to 80 metres past the access road to D&C Davidson farm.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken using temporary traffic lights between 9.15am and 3.30pm on weekdays. Access to D&C Davidson farm will remain open at all times.

All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
