Shaun Munro appeared at the High Court in Glasgow today where he admitted charges of dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol.

Katrina Smith, who was aged 76 and lived in Burghead, died shortly before 6am on the morning of Sunday, April 28, 2019.

Her vehicle was hit head-on by Munro's car which was travelling in the opposite direction along the A96.

Sentence has been adjourned until next month so that social workers can compile a report on Munro, who lives in Lewis.
