Tim Eagle has urged voters to reflect on not just national issues but also Moray when they go to the polls tomorrow.

The Scottish Conservative candidate says he is making the plea following many conversations with local people over the last few weeks of the campaign trial.

He said: "We all know that separation from the UK has had a lot of air time throughout the course of this campaign.

"But having walked around all Moray's town and villages over the last few weeks what I am hearing most is about local services.

"Young people were contacting me in numbers I have experienced never before over worries about stealth exams.

"Rural workers have spoken to me about their concerns over access to services, including poor broadband speeds.

"Parents have raised concerns over education, and many people have concerns about access to healthcare and the state of Moray's roads.

"I want to be a new voice for Moray, one who works for all of Moray's communities.

"I'll fight for better rural broadband, to kickstart the economy and to improve our education system.

"I want to raise the argument for more funding for Moray Council and make sure our large road network is considered in what we receive.

"As Moray residents we all want a Moray which thrives, produces the resources which allow both our children and adults to succeed, good jobs and a range of cultural and sports facilities.

"For Moray to be the best it can be it needs the basic essentials like a fully functioning Dr Gray's Hospital, including a restored maternity unit, high quality education and a strong and diverse economy.

"These must be provided by the Scottish Government and it is clear that they are falling short.

"By casting your vote for Tim Eagle tomorrow with your constituency vote, you will be voting for a candidate who will fight every day to deliver a better Moray.

"By voting Scottish Conservatives with your party vote we can focus Scotland on what really matters: a strong recovery."
