ELECTION 2021: Tim Eagle vows to be an 'MSP for all'

CONSERVATIVE candidate Tim Eagle came into politics to be a voice – and stand up for his community.

“As a councillor, father and farmer, I am determined to make Moray the best it can be. Before Covid-19, I was frustrated by cuts to Moray Council’s budget, struggles our schools faced and pressures on our health services. All the things that matter most.

“As a former police officer, I saw first-hand the justice system. As an agricultural consultant, I learned the pressures and strengths in rural areas.

“As a non-executive director for a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, I heard more about the daily workings of our third sector partners and as a mission worker in Mozambique, my eyes were opened to poverty and inequality in our world.

“If elected, I pledge to work at the heart of parliament, to restore services at Dr Grays and supporting our schools and education system be the best they can be. I’d support our businesses so we can protect them and the jobs they provide, working with others to create a strong economy which provides a wealth of opportunities for our young people and ensure fair funding for Moray Council, so we can invest, not cut, vital frontline services. I want to see better broadband for all.

“I’d be an MSP for all; uniting, not dividing, positives, not negatives, listening and supporting communities to achieve common goals that strengthen, build resilience and empower individuals. Working together we can give Moray a brighter future.”
