ELGIN Academy pupils have been recognised for their hard work at the school's awards ceremony.
Pupils from S1 to S6 received recognition for their achievements, with the school's S5 and S6 Dux awards going to Louise Orr and Fraser Whitecross respectively.
Attainment Awards were also issued to the top performing pupils in each subject for each year.
Speaking at the ceremony, the school's Head Teacher Kyle Scott said: "At Elgin Academy, our vision is that Together Everyone Achieves More and I believe this vision has been tested more over the past two years than ever before.
"As we reflect back over 2021-22, it has been another incredible and jam packed year at EA with so much happening, even in the midst of Covid. Our young people blow me away every day with their energy and desire to be involved in everything.
"I think it is fair to say that these incredible young people in front of us today have faced more adversity over the last few years than any of us could have ever imagined or hoped. However, I am incredibly proud to stand in front of you all today and recognise the strength they have gained and the amazing individuals they have become in the face of this adversity.
"It is an incredibly proud moment for me and our school, to work with them every day is a privilege."
