‘Where’s Wayne?’ is the story of a little boy called Billy and his pet dog Sam who go in search of their best friend.

Ellie, who writes under the per name LE Wellie, said: "To have my book published by a mainstream publisher is a dream come true for me.

"Some of my most precious memories are of being tucked up cozy in bed in Elgin, with the rain tapping on my bedroom window while my dad told tales of fantastic creatures in wonderful worlds.

"I’d drift off to sleep with a smile on my face, and continue the stories in my dreams.

"I've always wanted other parents to experience the same magic with their children, and create that everlasting bond we all hope and live for."

‘Where’s Wayne?’ has been released by the publisher Austin Macauley.

Suitable for children aged three and above, it is on sale from mainstream booksellers, including Waterstones and W.H. Smith, as well as available online at Amazon.
