ELGIN Police Station is helping ensure local children can safely enjoy Halloween this year by hosting two competitions.

In conjunction with the newly-formed Pumpkin Trail Moray and Asda, Community Officer PC Jamie Dey is running a fancy dress competition as well as a pumpkin carving competition.

Entries for the competition can be posted on Pumpkin Trail Moray's Facebook page – with about 35 in so far. Asda is providing prizes for the winners of both competitions.
