Emergency crews attend A98 crash a few miles outside Buckie





Emergency services have been called to a one-vehicle crash.

Crews were called out at around 9.25am on Sunday morning, following reports of a crash around three miles south-west of Buckie on the A98 between Cullen and Fochabers.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it sent two of its appliances to assist at the scene, one from Buckie and another from Fochabers.

A spokesperson for the SFRS said they had used cutting gear and also helped to make the vehicle safe before standing down at 10.29am and leaving the scene at 10.42am.

Police and ambulance crews also attended. At the time of writing it was not known if anyone was injured or required medical treatment.

The road was closed for a short time but later reopened.
