Exclusive: The real Santa due to visit Elgin

SANTA is set to return to the streets of Elgin for the sixth year running to raise cash for children's charities.

The big man will be taking time our from his busy festive calendar to tour Bishopmill on Thursday, December 19 and New Elgin on Friday, December 20.

Yvonne Milton, who has once again helped to organise his visit to Moray, said: "Santa will be in a horse-drawn carriage to bring a bit of Christmas excitement to the town.

"He'll be handing out sweets in exchange for donations.

"Every penny in every bucket will go towards two special charities – Clic Sargent and The Archie Foundation.

"The routes will be posted on our Facebook page in the near future, so please come out to say hello and help us fill those buckets."

Santa on the Streets has raised close to £10,000 since it began.
