ACTIVE Schools, Outfit Moray and Gordon Castle have teamed up to offer an all-abilities cycling event next school term.

The free Family Bike Fest @ Gordon Castle will take place on September 4 and has been organised thanks to funding from Cycling Scotland.

The event will give people a chance to try out electric bikes and learn more about adapted bikes, local cycling routes, pick up new bike skills and test themselves through challenges.

Active Schools coordinator Lorna Young said: "All ages are welcome, from pre-school to parents, guardians, grandparents, uncles, aunties – the whole family – and all abilities.

"It doesn’t matter if you are new to cycling or have been cycling for a while. There is something for everyone."

The cycling day will run from 11am to 3pm on September 4.
