Findhorn Foundation trustee's climate change podcast is global crowd-puller

A MORAY spiritual community member's climate change podcast has become a top go-to online forum on the subject across the globe.
Findhorn Foundation trustee Paul Dickinson started the climate change podcast, Outrage + Optimism, in April last year along with former UN chief and Costa Rican diplomat Christiana Figueres – who has dubbed the foundation "the magic kingdom".
Over the last year the award-winning podcast has become the most listened to podcast on climate change, with an audience stretching from San Francisco to Sydney.
Weekly episodes include in-depth interviews with leading environmentalists, philosophers, stars, politicians and business figures including David Attenborough, Jane Goodall, Greta Thunberg, Stella McCartney, Richard Branson, Ellie Goulding, David Miliband and Theresa May.
The podcast was recently one of six to be honoured in the 2020 Webby Awards news and politics category.
Ms Figueres has been an annual visitor to The Park since 2014 when she visited with a group of climate financiers. The group has met every year since at The Park in a programme called Climate Finance.
The podcast has been selected as the number 10 All-Time Podcasts on the Apple UK Charts, and was number 15 in The Guardian's Best Podcasts in the World last year.
The foundation has developed free online spiritual resources, including meditations, during the pandemic.
