Firefighters were called at the scene of another fire in Lossiemouth earlier this afternoon.

Three appliances were sent to tackle the blaze just off the A941 between Lossiemouth and Elgin.

It is understood the fire was located at the town's Sunbank Quarry — where firefighters were called to extinguish two large fires only a few days ago, both of which are being treated as wilful by Police Scotland.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they were called at the scene at around 4.30pm today, with the stop message arriving at 6pm.

Crews have now left the scene.
