Fish landings at Buckie increase after holidays

THE end of the jubilee holidays saw the number of fish landings recorded at Buckie Harbour rise.
Last week some 290 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams were brought ashore, compared to 27 boxes and 44 bags of clams the previous week.
Bringing their catches ashore were the vessels Our May, Flourish, Boy Sam and Lily Oak VI.
No cargo boats called at Buckie Harbour last week.
