A flood alert has also been issued for Findhorn, Moray and Speyside for today, November 6 and Sunday, November 7.

A combination of higher tides, strong winds and large waves overnight have left low lying coastal areas in Moray at risk of flooding.

The greatest risk will be at around 1.30am on Sunday when the water is at its highest.

Some delays are expected for travel and some may experience short term loss of power and other services.

SEPA duty officers will continue to monitor the situation and will issue further updates as more information becomes available.
