HEAVY downpours are continuing to impact roads across Moray.

The local authority has now closed the B9103 Lossiemouth to Mulben road at the Inchberry railway bridge due to localised flooding.

A diversion, via Mosstodloch, is in place. Elsewhere, motorists are reporting hazardous conditions throughout the area due to surface water.

The local authority is also installing traffic lights on the A940 at Glenernie where there has been a landslip. The road will remain open but motorists are advised to take care.

A yellow weather warning remains in place across the Moray area, with heavy showers and thunderstorms expected throughout the day and for the rest of the week.

Meanwhile, flood alerts have been put in place across Scotland by the Scottish Environment Protection Area (SEPA) until further notice.

Moray Council has closed the B9103 at Inchberry Railway Bridge due to flooding.
