Burns Night in Moray – former Coronation Street star to attend Lossiemouth event.

A former Coronation Street star will be both a guest and a chef at a Burns Night Supper in Lossiemouth on Saturday night.

Sean Wilson is going to be present at The Comrades Club to help raise funds for local charities.

Sean played Martin Platt in the soap for 20 years, from 1985 to 2005, before returning for a brief stint in 2018.

Moving away from acting he now concentrates his skills on his passion for artisan cheesemaking.

His range of cheeses have 40 national and international awards to date and are classed as some of the finest.

The Burns Night event at The Comrades Club, which includes a ceilidh, is already sold out.

A regular visitor to Lossiemouth, Sean will also be at the town hall from 10am-noon tomorrow for a book signing.
