Former Moray pub boss David Hill, 68, jailed at Inverness Sheriff Court for sex crimes
A former pub boss, found guilty of a number of sexual offences in Moray spanning over 30 years, has been jailed.
David Hill, formerly of the Station Hotel in Burghead, was found guilty of three charges by majority verdict after a trial at Inverness Sheriff Court in early September.
The 68-year-old was found guilty of lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour towards a girl between the ages of 12 and 16 between November 10, 1991 and November 9, 1992.
He was also found guilty of lewd, indecent and libidinous practices toward a girl aged between 12 and 16 at an address in Elgin on January 1, 2008.
And Hill was found guilty of a final charge pertaining to the sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13 at an address in Burghead between April 1, 2015 and April 30, 2017.
Sentencing had been deferred until October 3.
However, the pensioner has now been jailed for two years.
Non-harassment orders preventing him from contacting his victims for three years were also imposed and he will remain on the sex offenders register for a decade.
