FOUR fire appliances were called to a blaze at a property near Duffus Castle on Wednesday night.

Firefighters tackled the blaze at around 7.30pm on July 17, with no casulties reported.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 7.29pm on Wednesday, July 17, to reports of a dwelling fire near the B9012 road, Elgin, Moray.

"Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances to the scene, and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting an external part of a property.

"There were no reported casualties, and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
