Crash on A98 in Moray sees three people taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital and one person flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary





The Scottish Ambulance Service has confirmed that four people have been taken to hospital after a “serious crash” on a major Moray road this morning.

The A98 is currently closed at the A990 and A942 junctions after emergency services were called to Arradoul at around 6.50am this morning.

Police say the incident involved a car and an ambulance with motorists being urged to avoid the area.

Three people have since been taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital while another was flown by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 06:56 to attend a two-vehicle road traffic collision at A98 junction on the A942, near Buckie.

“We dispatched multiple resources to the scene including three ambulances, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance from its Aberdeen base, and a critical care paramedic (CCP).

“We transported three patients to Dr Gray’s Hospital and one patient by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
