GALA fun for all the family is set to come to Cullen soon.

Cullen Sea School (CSS) are getting ready to welcome people of all ages from near and far on Sunday, July 21 for their annual gala bash to be held both at the harbour and the school premises itself at Port Long Road.

The festivities are due to get under way at 11am and last through until around 3pm.

Among the attractions will be stalls from local organisations and groups, including craft stalls.

Cullen’s fire engine and the Buckie RNLI lifeboat are both expected to draw the crowds, their appearance being subject to operational demands.

For those who fancy a go at rowing, there will be taster sessions running during the event.

Live music is also on the cards, and there will be refreshments and a food truck for thirsty and peckish.

The organisers will be hoping for a repeat of last year’s event, which was described by the then sea school chairman Prof Ashley Mowat as “One of the best ever”.
