Halloween Spooktacular brought colour to the centre of Elgin

THE Halloween Spooktacular in Elgin was a colourful affair.

After 18 months of lockdowns and Covid-19 restrictions, it was good to see people together again and youngsters dressed up to celebrate Halloween.

It was organised by Elgin Business Improvement District (BID) and its chief executive Gemma Cruickshank said: "It was such a fun event and was great to see so many people dressed up and participating in the fancy dress parade and competition including adults!

"There was plenty of activities for families and we have had really good feedback on the event. Our Silent Disco was popular with the kids as was the Hook the Donut and the Ghastly Ghost Hunt.

"There was a really good buzz around the town and good to see it so busy."
