The Aberlour Hotel spreads "stay safe" message to town
A HOTEL in Aberlour is doing its bit to help spread positivity throughout the town.
A rainbow with the message "stay safe" has been painted on the side of The Aberlour Hotel, which faces the entrance to the town's co-op store.
The hotel's managing director Kellie Spooner is also out delivering meals to Aberlour's elderly.
She said: "We are still open for key workers, like people working at the pharmacy, and are doing takeaways via email and phone call.
"We are not making any margins but I'm putting myself out there so old people can have a pot of soup for dinner.
"I'm just trying my best and doing what I can do for the community."
And, with the rainbow and message on the side of the hotel, Kellie hopes to radiate some positivity throughout the town.
She added: "The rainbow was done to put put a message out to everyone saying 'let's pull together as a community'.
"That's what this wee community has to do. We have to work as a team and I'm a little cog in that team.
"It's not unique, everyone is doing it, but I wanted to make the rainbow a bit bigger so when the public go into the co-op they can see it.
"It's a reminder to be mindful and remember what is happening in the world."
