A COMMUNITY garden in New Elgin is taking shape and volunteers are needed to take it further.
Claire Howie said: "We are currently reviving an unused outdoor space into New Elgin Community Garden.
"Covid had of course delayed many of our plans but we are now looking to gain some more interest, whether that is folk coming to our sessions or people willing to come along at other times to help get the garden looking more welcoming."
The garden is located behind New Elgin and Ashgrove Public Hall on Land Street, Elgin.
More information is available on Facebook - New Elgin Community Plan, or via email at newelgincommunity@gmail.com.
Raised beds have been maintained throughout the last year with the help of environmental charity REAP Scotland, which is based in Keith.
