A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the discovery, at a property on Bleachfield Street.

Officers arrived at the home at around 3pm on Monday, November 11, to carry out a search warrant.

The 24-year-old was released on an undertaking and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Constable Robyn McKay said the bust was another example of the police tacking “harmful criminality”.

"Recoveries such as this highlight our determination to protect the public from this type of harmful criminality and make communities safer,” she said

“Information from the public is absolutely crucial to our work and we would continue to urge anyone with knowledge or concerns about drugs activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101.
